The primary function of KPTS welded tubular heat exchangers from LLC "KIEVPROMTECHSERVICE" is to heat liquid media (water, glycol or alcohol-based aqueous solutions, thermal oil, etc.) using the heat of steam condensation.

Main Applications:

  • Heating of boiler feed water
  • Heating of heat carrier in heating systems
  • Heating of water for domestic hot water (DHW) systems
  • Heating of water for various technological processes (food pasteurization, fat melting, food preservation, etc.)
  • Heat recovery from secondary steam condensation (in condensate collection tanks, during food production, etc.)

Design Features:

The heat exchanger has a fully welded construction with a heat exchange surface formed by smooth tubes. The minimum wall thickness of the heat exchange tubes is 1.5 mm.

Heat carrier (steam) is supplied to the tube space of the heat exchanger.

Liquid medium is supplied to the inter-tube space.

Material Execution:

  • Heat exchange tubes: AISI 321
  • Shell: AISI 304

Upon customer request, heat exchangers can be manufactured from other materials, such as carbon steel, AISI 321, or AISI 316.

The smooth tube surface allows heating of moderately contaminated media, with:

  • Maximum particle size: up to 1 mm
  • Maximum mass concentration of impurities: up to 1%
  • Dissolved substances (hardness salts, etc.): up to 500 mg/L
  • General Operating Conditions:
  • Design pressure: 1.0 MPa (excess)
  • Design temperature:
  • Maximum: 190°C
  • Minimum: -30°C

It is also possible to manufacture heat exchangers with pressure and temperature ratings exceeding the specified values.

Cleaning Method: Only chemical cleaning is allowed.
